Gray dove hanging around our house, what do i do and what does it mean?

there is a gray dove hanging around our house. It was on the fence and i walked up to it about 3 feet and it flew to the other side of house, i walked to it again and i got about 2 feet from it then it flew away. the following day it was sitting on top of our roof. Ive got a bird aviary outside with parkeets in it and i think its has something to do with it. Does it mean anything? What should i do. I put seeds/food on top of bird aviary to try to lure it in.
