I want to visit an LDS church? (more info inside)?

Most of my family are devout evangelical Christians. My mom works for our church (Church of God) and my grandpa on my dad's side was a pastor of a church for 44 years. I was baptized there when I was 6. My uncle is a preacher now for COG, and I have a few cousins and uncles that are pastors as well. So as you can see, it's very religious. Well for a few months, I've been studying Mormonism and have really taken an interest in it. An LDS church is 5 minutes away from me, and I'd really like to visit one Sunday. But I do not have my license and know that I would most likely not be allowed to attend, and I'd feel bad sneaking around to go to Church. I know that my parents will most likely not budge, since I had a few family members go to a Baptist and Methodist church and there have already been some things said. What should I do to convince my parents to let me visit?
