What are the programming languages other than Fortran which are required extensively in Physics and Astronomy?

Well, Fortran really is the best at doing numerical calculations, especially when using linear algebra algorithms. However, C is often used to do numerical computation as well. No other languages can even compare to these two when it comes number crunching.
