What is the best tablet for school using Excel mainly.?

I am looking to get a tablet for portability to take to school and work. Im an engineering student so I use a lot of excel and word doents. Also I am looking for internet any where so something like a XOOM by motorola may be what I need, or a Galaxy Tab. I am straying away from the IPad just because my next investment in Apple will be a MacBook Pro. But for now I need something portable and that I could use for personal use as well. Does any one have an idea of good Tablets out right now that will fit my needs of Internet anywhere (signal is of course), Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and google doents. Thanks.
