Sqeaking noise from my mondeo?

Hi guys . i have been hearing a sort of creaking noise from the front of my car when i am turning corners. its worse on warm days but still happens now and again daily. the noise sounds like a squeaky floorboard. the car is a 96 mk1 mondeo. 1.8L. can anyone give any idea as to what might be causing this. thanks for any info guys.
