Is it too soon to email him? ..

What should i do if i love him so much, but he has never known that and he moves abroad and i decide to email him. Is 2 weeks, 4 days to soon to email him after he left or should i wait longer?? Will he think i'm clingy or just caring as a friend. An email like, hey how are you doing? rah rah rah.. lol. soo any suggestions? ? x
